Ingredients

1 lb. can sliced beets
1 small onion, sliced
1/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/3 c. vinegar
Preparation

Drain 1/2 liquid off beets.
Heat with onion until soft. Separately, mix together sugar, salt, cornstarch and vinegar.
Add to hot beets and onion slowly.
Stir as mixture thickens.
Makes 6 servings.
