Fried Chicken Supreme - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 lb.) cut-up frying chicken
    1/2 c. butter
    1/3 c. flour
    1 egg
    1/4 c. milk
    1 c. dry bread crumbs
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/8 tsp. poultry seasoning
    1/2 c. hot water
    1 medium onion
Preparation
    Use only the legs, wings, thighs and breast.
    Wash and dry. Dip the pieces into flour, then in the egg, which has been slightly beaten with milk.
    Dip fowl into bread crumbs.
