Baked Beans(To Can) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 lb. dry beans
2 lb. brown sugar
1/2 c. salt
1 Tbsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. red pepper
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 (18 oz.) bottle catsup
2 lb. salt pork or bacon ends
7 1/2 qt. tomato juice
2 Tbsp. minced onion
Preparation
-
Soak beans overnight; drain.
Cook until tender and drain. Mix all the other ingredients together; pour over beans.
Mix well.
Put into jars and cold pack for 3 hours.
Yields 18 to 19 quarts.
