Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 small can tomato paste
    1 envelope French-style spaghetti sauce
    2 c. water or more
    1 tsp. oregano
    2 cloves garlic, chopped
    1 bay leaf, crumbled
    1 tsp. cumin powder
    2 Tbsp. chili powder
    salt to taste
    mushrooms (optional)
Preparation
    Brown meat, stirring to avoid large lumps.
    Add onion (1/2 cup or more); cook until clear and soft.
    Add remaining ingredients and cook slowly for 30 to 45 minutes, stirring frequently.
    Serves 4 to 6.
