Old-Time Ginger Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. molasses
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1 c. finely chopped dates
    1/2 c. English walnuts
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients; beat eggs until light.
    Add sugar gradually, beating until fluffy.
    Add molasses and sour cream and beat well.
    Gradually add dry ingredients.
    Fold in dates and nuts.
    Spread evenly in a 15 x 10-inch pan, greased.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 25 minutes.
    Cool on rack.
