The Suckers From Dew Drop - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. sugar
1 c. corn syrup
1/2 tsp. red or green food coloring
1 1/2 tsp. peppermint
Preparation

In medium saucepan, add sugar, corn syrup and half cup of water.
Cook over medium heat without stirring until candy thermometer registers 300\u00b0 or until small amount
of mixture forms hard brittle threads when dropped into cold water.
Remove from heat.
Have lollipop sticks ready on flat surface; place on top of wax paper and pour mixture on top of stick and let cool.
Remove lollipops when hardened.
