Mom'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 sticks margarine
1/2 c. shortening
3 c. sugar
3 c. flour
1 c. milk
1 tsp. lemon extract
1/2 tsp. orange extract (optional)
1 tsp. vanilla extract
5 eggs
Preparation

Cream margarine, shortening and sugar until light and fluffy. Add flour and milk alternately. (Note: Use no baking powder or soda.) Blend in flavoring and mix well. Add one egg at a time; beat well after each egg. Bake in well-greased and floured large tube pan at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until toothpick removes clean from center of cake.
