Ingredients

3 sticks oleo
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
3 c. flour
8 oz. sour cream
1/4 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. coconut
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Before starting cake, have eggs and oleo at room temperature. Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
Grease and flour tube pan.
Cream butter and sugar well.
Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Add flour, salt, soda, sour cream and vanilla.
Beat well.
Stir in coconut.
Bake approximately 1 1/2 hours.
