Lazy Daisy Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
    1 c. quick oats
    1/2 c. margarine
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over oats and cover.
    Let set 20 minutes. Beat butter until creamy.
    Gradually add sugar and beat until fluffy.
    Blend in vanilla.
    Add oat mixture; mix well.
    Sift flour, soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg.
    Add to mixture.
    Pour in well-greased and floured 9-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 55 minutes.
