Chocolate Delight Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. Bisquick
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/3 c. cocoa
    1 egg
    2/3 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. cherry preserves
    Cool Whip
Preparation
    Beat together all ingredients except preserves and Cool Whip. Pour into an

    Bake 35 minutes. Cool completely.
    Split
    to make two layers.
    Spread preserves and Cool Whip on bottom layer.
    Spread Cool Whip on top layer.
