Marinated Coleslaw(A Make-Ahead Salad For Quick Meals) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cider vinegar
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. oil
    1 tsp. each: prepared mustard, celery seed and salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 small head (2 lb.) green cabbage, shredded (4 c.)
    1 jar pimentos, chopped
Preparation
    Mix vinegar, sugar, oil, mustard, celery seed, salt and pepper.
    Pour over cabbage, onion and pimentos.
    Toss to mix well. Cover and chill at least 24 hours.
    Salad keeps 3 to 4 weeks in the refrigerator.
    Makes 2 1/2 quarts or 12 to 16 servings.
