Lemon Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter (no substitute)
    2 c. sugar
    3 c. plain flour
    6 eggs
    2 oz. lemon extract
    1 lb. white raisins
    1 1/2 lb. candied cherries
    1 lb. candied pineapple
    1 lb. pecans
Preparation
    Cut fruits and nuts; mix with part of flour.
    Mix other ingredients.
    Add fruits and nuts to cake mixture.
    Bake in 275\u00b0 oven 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
    Place pan of water under cake while baking.
    (Grease pan and line with wax paper and then grease again.)
