Super Duper Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. pkg. frozen hash brown potatoes
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    2 c. half and half
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 lb. American cheese
    crisp crumbled bacon
    8 oz. sour cream
Preparation
    Heat butter, half and half, salt and cheese.
    Stir until melted.
    Mix in potatoes and bake in a 2-quart baking dish at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Add sour cream and continue cooking for 15 minutes.
    Garnish with bacon.
