Corn Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/4 c. unbleached white flour
3/4 c. whole grain corn meal (stone ground)
4 Tbsp. sugar
5 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 c. milk
2 Tbsp. melted butter
Preparation

Sift together all dry ingredients. Beat egg with milk and add to flour mixture along with melted butter. Stir well. Spread batter in 9-inch pie plate and bake in 375\u00b0 oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until lightly browned around edges. Serves 6.
