Eggnog French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (24 oz.) loaf unsliced bread
    6 large eggs
    2 1/4 c. milk
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. rum extract
    1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
    confectioners sugar
    strawberries and lemon leaves
    maple or maple flavored syrup
Preparation
    Cut loaf of bread crosswise into eight 1-inch thick slices (use remaining bread another day).
    Cut each slice diagonally in half.
    Arrange bread slices in a 15 1/2 x 10 1/2-inch jelly roll pan (greased)
    .
    In a large bowl with fork, beat eggs, milk, sugar, rum extract and nutmeg until blended. Pour mixture over bread in pan.
    With fork, prick bread slices and turn occasionally to coat both sides of bread until all egg mixture is absorbed.
