Never Fail Graham Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    22 squares graham crackers, rolled fine
    1/2 c. milk
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    3 egg whites
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    3 egg yolks, beaten well
    1 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar well; add egg yolks and beat well until thoroughly blended.
    Stir the baking powder into the cracker crumbs.
    Add the milk and crackers crumbs alternately and blend thoroughly.
    Stir in the chopped nut meats.
    Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold these into the mixture last.
    Bake in two 8-inch pans in moderate oven, 350\u00b0, about 45 minutes.
