Sherried Beef - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. stew beef
    1 can cream of mushroom soup, plus 1 can water
    1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
    1 small can chopped mushrooms
    1/3 c. cooking sherry
Preparation
    Put beef in a 2-quart casserole dish with cover.
    Mix and heat remaining ingredients; pour mixture over beef.
    Cover dish; bake at 325\u00b0 for 3 hours.
    Serve over noodles, rice or potatoes.
