Celery Water Chestnut Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. celery in 1-inch slices
1 (5 oz.) can water chestnuts, thinly sliced
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/4 c. diced pimento
1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
1/4 c. toasted almonds
2 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine
Preparation

Cook celery in small amount of water for 8 minutes; drain. Mix celery, water chestnuts, soup and pimento; turn into buttered casserole.
Mix bread crumbs with almonds and melted butter. Sprinkle evenly over top.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
Makes 6 servings.
