Salisbury Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 egg
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. crackers
    2 Tbsp. milk
    1 Tbsp. horseradish
    1 tsp. salt
    1 jar beef gravy
    1 c. sliced mushrooms (optional)
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    In a bowl, combine beef, egg, onion, cracker crumbs, milk, horseradish, salt and pepper; shape into patties.
    Fry in skillet over medium heat for 10 to 12 minutes, or until cooked through, turning once.
    Remove patties and keep warm.
    Add gravy, mushrooms and water to skillet; heat 3 to 5 minutes.
    Serve over mashed potatoes, noodles or rice.
