Polynesian Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 whole chicken breasts, split in half
6 chicken thighs
6 chicken legs
3 (17 oz.) cans fruit for salad
1 (16 oz.) bottle soy sauce
1 clove garlic (optional), crushed
3 (8 oz.) jars sweet and sour sauce
hot cooked rice
Preparation

Remove skin from chicken and put in large pan.
Drain fruit. Save syrup and refrigerate fruit.
Mix fruit syrup, soy sauce and garlic.
Pour over chicken.
Bake uncovered for 1 hour at 350\u00b0. Pour liquid from cooked chicken into pan along with sweet and sour sauce.
Bring to a boil over medium heat.
Simmer about 30 minutes until sauce thickens.
Add fruit.
Pour over chicken.
Bake for another 30 minutes.
Serve over rice.
Yields 12 servings.
