Ingredients

1 c. Pet milk
1 c. water
4 Tbsp. flour
2 eggs
4 Tbsp. cocoa or 1 sq. chocolate
10 Tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix flour, sugar, salt and cocoa with a little of the milk. Add yolks of eggs that are well beaten.
Scald remainder of diluted milk.
Pour slowly into egg mixture; cook in double boiler until it thickens.
Cool; add vanilla.
Pour into cooked pie shells.
Cover with stiffly beaten egg whites with 2 tablespoons sugar.
Brown in oven and serve hot.
