Tex Mex Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
    1 medium onion, finely chopped
    1 medium green pepper, chopped
    1 medium red pepper, chopped
    2 to 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    4 oz. ham, cubed
    1 Tbsp. chopped green chiles
    1/4 tsp. white pepper
    1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
    1 can chicken broth
    1 egg yolk
    1/4 c. heavy cream
    1/2 c. shredded Cheddar
Preparation
    Boil potatoes until tender.
    Saute onion and peppers in butter until soft.
    Add ham, chiles, white pepper and cayenne.
    Cook 1 more minute.
    Set aside.
