Easy Chow Mein - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 (12 oz.) can Spam, cubed
    1 c. chopped onion
    2 c. diced celery
    3/4 c. water
    2 1/2 c. bean sprouts, drained
    1/3 c. cold water
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 tsp. soy sauce
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 c. frozen peas (optional)
    1 medium can chow mein noodles
    1 large can pork and beans
    1 can green lima beans
    1 can red kidney beans
    1 lb. lean ground beef, browned
    1 lb. lean bacon, cooked and minced
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. onion, minced
    2 tsp. prepared mustard or 1 tsp. dry
    1/2 c. catsup
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients and bake for approximately 1 1/2 hours.
