Corn Fritters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. corn meal (self-rising)
    1 c. cream-style corn
    1 egg
    1 onion, chopped fine
    milk
Preparation
    Combine the first 4 ingredients.
    Add a small amount of milk, if needed to make mixture of consistency to fry.
    Fry on medium heat in small amount of oil until brown on both sides.
    Serve hot as a vegetable.
