Buttermilk White Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 1/2 c. cake flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
salt
3 egg whites, stiffly beaten
vanilla

Preparation

Mix soda and cream of tartar with flour.
Add egg whites last. Bake in 350\u00b0 oven.
