Apple Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. whole wheat flour
6 Tbsp. sugar
3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 egg or 2 egg whites
1 c. milk
3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 c. very finely chopped apple
Preparation

In a large bowl combine the flours, sugar, baking power and cinnamon.
In a medium bowl, beat together egg, milk and oil. Pour the liquid ingredients into the dry ingredients and combine until just mixed.
Fold in apples.
Spoon into greased muffin tins and bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
Makes about 3 1/2 dozen (1 1/2-inch) muffins or twelve (2 1/2-inch) muffins.
