Cream Cheese Fruit Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1 stick margarine
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 c. nuts, chopped
    3 pkg. (8 oz. each) cream cheese
    4 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 (21 oz.) cherry pie filling
    3/4 c. sugar
Preparation
    Melt margarine and mix first four ingredients.
    Press mixture evenly over the bottom of a 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
    In a large bowl beat cream cheese with electric mixer until smooth.
    Gradually beat in sugar.
    Add eggs and vanilla; beat until well blended. Spoon cherry filling over crust.
    Carefully pour cream cheese mixture over cherries.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 just until set, 45 to 50 minutes.
    Cool.
    Chill until cold.
    Cut into 24 squares.
