Golden Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    1/4 c. light corn syrup
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. evaporated milk
    1/2 c. water
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine sugar, corn syrup, butter, salt, evaporated milk and water.
    Heat, stirring constantly, to boiling; then cook rapidly, stirring several times.
    Remove from heat at once, when a soft ball forms (when dropped in a cup of cold water).
    Cool mixture in pan or until lukewarm; heat 2 or 3 minutes.
