Popcorn Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/4 c. (1/4 stick) butter
1/4 tsp. salt
few drops of food color
8 c. popped popcorn
Preparation

Heat all ingredients, except popcorn, to boiling in Dutch oven over medium to high heat, stirring constantly. Add popcorn. Cook about 3 minutes, stirring constantly until popcorn is well coated. Cool slightly. Dip hands into cold water; shape mixture into 2 1/2-inch balls. Place on waxed paper and cool. Wrap individually in plastic bags and seal.
