Barbecued Ribs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. beef ribs
1 large onion
2 Tbsp. flour
2 Tbsp. mustard (yellow)
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. cloves, ground
1/2 c. ketchup
1/2 c. water
1 c. pickle juice from sweet pickles or pickled peaches
2 Tbsp. shortening
Preparation

Fry ribs on all sides until brown in shortening.
Put them in a roaster.
Mix flour, mustard, salt, pepper, cloves, ketchup, water and pickle juice together.
Slice or dice onion over ribs, them pour everything over ribs and onions.
Cook until the ribs are tender about 1 hour at 275\u00b0.
Cook slowly.
Be careful not too cook dry.
