Strawberry Angel Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 serving) pkg. wild strawberry flavored gelatin
    2 c. boiling water
    1 c. cold water
    1 pt. fresh strawberries*
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    3 1/2 c. whipped topping, thawed
    4 c. angel food cake cubes*
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin
    in boiling water.
    Add cold water and chill until slightly thickened.
    Slice strawberries, reserving a few for garnish, if desired, and sprinkle with sugar.
    Blend whipped topping
    into
    gelatin;
    then
    fold
    in cake cubes and strawberries.
    Spoon into 10-inch tube pan or 13 x 9-inch cake pan; chill
    until
    firm,
    about
    3
    hours.
    Unmold or cut into squares.
    Garnish
    with
    additional
    whipped
    topping
    and the reserved strawberries.
    Makes 10 cups or 12 to 15 servings.
