Double Up Oreo Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. half and half
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    4 c. whipping cream
    25 Double Stuff Oreos
Preparation
    Scald milk (heat until bubbles start to form).
    Remove from heat; add sugar and salt.
    Stir until dissolved.
    Stir in half and half, vanilla and whipping cream.
    Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
    Stir in cookies to chilled mixture.
    Freeze.
    Makes 1 gallon.
