Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. sliced apples, peeled
2 tsp. cinnamon
5 Tbsp. sugar
3 c. flour
2 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder
1 c. vegetable oil
4 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. orange juice
2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix in 1 bowl the apples, cinnamon and 5 tablespoons sugar. Mix in second bowl, the remaining ingredients. Mix batter well and in a greased and floured angel food cake pan, alternate batter and apples (1/2 the batter and 1/2 of the apples each time). Bake at 350\u00b0 for an hour, then reduce heat to 325\u00b0 and bake approximately 45 minutes more. Test with toothpick and if necessary, bake longer until toothpick comes out clean.
