Alabama Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. baking powder
    1 pkg. yeast
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients.
    Dissolve yeast in water.
    Add milk, melted shortening and yeast to dry mixture.
    Roll thin and cut with biscuit cutter.
    Dip each biscuit in melted butter.
    Let rise for 1 hour.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
