Barley Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. onion, chopped
    1/2 stick butter
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
    1 c. quick barley
    1/4 c. parsley
    2 tsp. chicken bouillon
    1 tsp. basil
    pepper
    1 1/3 c. hot water
Preparation
    In a large casserole with lid, combine onion, butter and garlic.
    Cover and microwave on High 5 minutes.
    Add rest of ingredients and microwave 5 minutes on High, then 20 minutes on Medium.
    Don't stir while cooking.
    Let stand 5 minutes.
    Fluff with fork.
    This is delicious and great with chicken.
