Icebox Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. cornstarch
2/3 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. milk, scalded
3 slightly beaten egg whites
2 Tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix cornstarch, sugar and salt into scalded milk.
Cook until thickened.
Fold in slightly beaten egg whites, stirring constantly.
Remove from stove and add butter and vanilla.
After completely cooled, pour into baked pie shell and top with whipped cream.
Chill before serving.
