Meat Loaf(From 1975 Edition) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. beef
    1 lb. fresh pork
    1 tsp. salt
    pepper
    2 eggs
    1 small chopped onion
    2 c. bread crumbs
    1/2 c. milk
    1/3 c. ketchup
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    6 slices bacon
    1/2 c. hot water
Preparation
    Add meat, salt, pepper, eggs (slightly beaten) and onion.
    Add ketchup and Worcestershire sauce.
    Shape into a loaf; place in a pan and lay bacon across the top.
    Bake in a hot oven at 400\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours, basting with 1/2 cup hot water.
