Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. Crisco
3 egg yolks
1 1/4 c. buttermilk
3 to 4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. almond extract
Preparation

Cream together butter, sugar and Crisco; add egg yolks and flavorings.
Next add buttermilk.
Blend in 1 cup of flour at a time.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Bake at 450\u00b0 for 8 minutes.
