Frozen Dill Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. cucumbers, peeled and sliced
    1/2 to 3/4 onion, sliced
    4 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. water
    3/4 to 1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. vinegar
    2 tsp. dill weed
Preparation
    Combine cucumbers, onion, salt and water.
    Let stand 2 hours; drain.
    Don't rinse.
    Add sugar, vinegar and dill weed.
    Let stand until cucumbers are covered with liquid, about 1/2 hour.
    Stir occasionally.
    Put in containers and freeze.
