Crispix Mix - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks margarine
    3/8 c. corn syrup (Karo)
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 box Crispix cereal
    1 (11 oz.) can peanuts
    1 bag popped corn (3 to 4 oz.)
Preparation
    Boil margarine, corn syrup and brown sugar for 2 minutes.
    Add 1/4 teaspoon soda and vanilla.
    Pour syrup over cereal mix. Divide into 2 pans.
    Bake at 225\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Stir every 15 minutes.
    Store in refrigerator while still hot.
