Shrimp Creole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. parsley
    1 doz. green onions
    1 onion
    1 green pepper
    garlic powder
    1/2 stalk celery
    1 stick oleo
    8 Tbsp. flour
    6 c. water
    3 cans tomato paste
    2 Tbsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. red pepper
    1 tsp. black pepper
    2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 Tbsp. Tabasco sauce
    1 tsp. vinegar
    5 lb. shrimp
Preparation
    Chop parsley, green onions, celery and green pepper.
    Make a roux of the 1 stick of oleo and 8 tablespoons of flour.
    (Takes about 30 to 45 minutes,)
    Add chopped vegetables and garlic powder to roux and saute for about 10 to 15 minutes, then add water, tomato paste, salt, sugar, red pepper, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce and Tabasco sauce.
    Simmer for 30 minutes, then add the vinegar.
    Cook for 1 1/2 hours.
    Add the shrimp and simmer for 20 minutes.
    Serves about 25 people.
