Fruit Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or oleo
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. almond extract
    2 c. flour
    1 small can cherry pie filling
Preparation
    Cream together the butter and sugar.
    Add the eggs, flavorings and flour.
    Spread evenly in a large jelly roll pan and score into 24 squares.
    Drop 2 to 3 cherries from pie filling onto each square.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
