Wild Rice With Mushrooms And Almonds - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. uncooked wild rice
    1/2 c. slivered almonds
    2 Tbsp. chopped green onions or chives
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    3 c. chicken broth
    1 (8 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
Preparation
    Rinse and drain wild rice.
    In large skillet, cook and stir almonds in butter until almonds are golden.
    Pour wild rice into greased 1 1/2-quart casserole.
    Heat broth to boiling.
    Stir into wild rice.
    Stir in almonds, onions and mushrooms.
    Cover tightly and bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours or until liquid is absorbed and rice is fluffy.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
