Date Cake With Topping(Microwave) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. finely chopped dates
1 1/2 c. water
1 tsp. soda
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. chocolate chips

Preparation

Bake 6 to 8 minutes in microwave, turning every 1 1/2 minutes. Leave stand to cool.
