Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
pinch of salt
2 eggs
1 Tbsp. molasses (dark)
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cloves
3 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. baking soda
3 c. flour
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar.
Add next 6 ingredients and beat until smooth.
Add baking soda, then add flour 1 cup at a time to mix well.
Place dough in cookie press, using flat bar design. Cookies are done when edges are lightly browned and cookies are still soft.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 7 to 10 minutes.
Makes approximately 4 dozen 3-inch cookies.
