Prune Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. shortening
2 c. light brown sugar
2 c. cooked prunes
3 c. flour
3 eggs
2 tsp. soda
10 Tbsp. sour milk
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
Preparation
-
Cream shortening,
add sugar.
Cream well, add eggs one at a time and
beat
well
after each one has been added.
Add spices and salt
and
mashed
prunes.
Add
soda to sour milk. Add alternately with
flour
to creamed mixture.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
