Ingredients

1/2 lb. sugar
peel of 1/2 lemon
anise
6 eggs
1/2 lb. flour
Preparation

Beat eggs until foamy.
Continue beating while adding sugar and lemon peel.
Mix in flour.
Drop by large teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet.
Sprinkle cookies lightly with anise.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until golden brown.
While still warm, bend cookies over wooden spoon.
