Butter Rum Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter, softened
    4 c. confectioners sugar
    1/3 c. dark corn syrup
    2 tsp. rum extract
Preparation
    Cream butter.
    Add sugar and syrup alternately to butter, beating well after each addition.
    Beat in rum extract.
    If necessary, add more sugar until proper spreading consistency is reached.
