Mary'S Pepper Relish(No Cook) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large head cabbage
    12 medium onions
    2 tsp. celery seed
    3 pt. vinegar
    8 medium carrots
    8 red and green peppers
    1 tsp. mustard seed
    6 c. sugar
Preparation
    Grind vegetables and mix together.
    Add 1/2 cup salt and allow to stand 2 hours; drain.
    Mix spices, vinegar and sugar.
    Mix with vegetables and can, sealing tight.
