Caramel Apple Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. apples, peeled and chopped
1/4 c. caramel ice cream topping
2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 c. sugar
1 1/4 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
pastry for 9-inch pie crust, unbaked
Preparation

Place crust in 9-inch pie pan.
Turn under edges and flute. Place apples in bottom of unbaked crust; cover with caramel topping.
In a bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar and vanilla, mixing well until blended.
Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Pour this mixture over caramel topping. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
Chill.
To serve, garnish with additional caramel topping.
